Finish your game with this one simple lesson
Less of a lesson and more of a technique. We all know that the key to finishing a game is to keep it simple. We also know, when you're acting as your own product designer and developer it's much harder to put boundaries on what you do.
Here's what worked for me. It comes down to a technique Warren Buffet used. The idea is really simple. We all have to do lists. They grow exponentially on game development projects leading to disorganization and discouragement. They make us lose focus - running down every rabbit hole we find.
Balance this out by creating a NOT-TO-DO list...
